•Graduated chemistry at the Faculty of Chemistry, University of Wroclaw (Poland), receiving her PhD degree in Physical Chemistry of Lanthanides and Structure of Liquid Systems Group headed by Prof. J. Legendziewicz . During her doctoral studies she spent six month in the University of Aveiro in Portugal, as a fellow of Marie Curie Training Site in the frame of European Union program for young scientists. Her main research interests are focused on inorganic luminescent materials doped with rare-earth ions including white light emitters as well as laser materials. Postdoctoral fellow at the University Claude Bernard/Lyon1, UMR 5620 CNRS (France), the Physical Chemistry of Luminescent Materials (LPCML) research groups.

- Synthesis of single crystals of lutetium double phosphates doped with rare earth ions using Bridgeman and solid state reaction methods
- Optical properties of alkali metal double phosphates doped with Ce3+, Pr3+, Eu3+, Nd3+,Gd3+ and Yb3+ rare earth ions
- Synthesis of the nanosized inorganic materials using different technique including the microwave assisted solvothermal method
- Phosphors for White Light Emitting Diodes (WLEDs)
- New laser and Nonlinear materials in tungstate/molybdate matrices
- Analysis of morphology using transmission electron microscope (TEM) and scanning electron microscope (SEM)
- Distribution analysis of rare earth ions in optical oxide ceramics by TEM-EDX technique
